Where is the campsite located?

Camping Salatà is located in Roses, in the heart of the Costa Brava, close to the main tourist attractions. Visit our "How to get here" page for more information on transport and directions.

Can you get to Camping Salatà by public transport?

There are several options for reaching Camping Salatà by public transport. One option is to take a local train (Cercanías) to Figueres station, or the high-speed AVE train to Figueres-Vilafant station, and then take a bus to Roses. You can also travel directly by bus from major cities such as Figueres, Girona, and Barcelona.

How far is Camping Salatà from the beach in Roses?

Camping Salatà enjoys an excellent location in Roses. It is just 500 metres from the beach, which can be reached with a pleasant 10-minute walk.

What types of accommodation are available at the campsite?

Camping Salatà offers pitches, bungalows, apartments, and glamping options.

Does Camping Salatà have a swimming pool? What is the opening period?

Yes, Camping Salatà has a heated pool, a children’s pool with a slide, and a hydrotherapy area. All pools are open from the end of March until November.

Are barbecues allowed at the campsite?

Yes, Camping Salatà has a designated area for picnics and barbecues.

Is there Wi-Fi access at the campsite?

Yes, it's free of charge.

What is the amperage of the power supply at Camping Salatà?

The power outlets at Camping Salatà are 10 A, 7 kW.

Is it possible to have access to a water connection and drainage on the pitches?

 

The Confort, Confort Plus, Premium and Premium Plus pitches have a water connection. On the Premium and Premium Plus pitches, there is also drainage.

Do the bungalows have air conditioning?

Yes, the bungalows at Camping Salatà are equipped with air conditioning and a heat pump.

Do the bungalows include bed linen?

Yes, bed linen is included in the price of the bungalows. For stays longer than 7 nights, a change of towels and bed linen is included.

What facilities are included in the bungalows at Camping Salatà?

The bungalows at Camping Salatà in Roses include essential furniture, satellite TV, toilet, shower and hot water, and a fully equipped kitchen.

What type of coffee machine is available in the accommodation?

All bungalows, mobile homes, apartments and glamping units at Camping Salatà are equipped with a Dolce Gusto coffee machine.

Are the bungalows equipped for families with babies?

No, but upon prior request, we can equip the Gregal and Garbí bungalows and the studios with cots and highchairs.

Does Camping Salatà offer accommodation for people with reduced mobility?

Yes, at Camping Salatà we offer the Access bungalow, designed for people with mobility difficulties, featuring spacious interiors and an access ramp, with capacity for three people. In addition, the campsite has an adapted bathroom and access to common areas and accommodation for people with reduced mobility. In addition, we have an access hoist for entering the pool.

 

Does the campsite follow sustainable practices?

At Camping Salatà, we are committed to sustainability. We have several eco-friendly initiatives such as rubbish collection with electric vehicles, the use of renewable energy, and water-saving systems.

Does Camping Salatà offer entertainment for children?

Yes, at Camping Salatà you’ll find an entertainment programme that varies depending on the season.

Can I bring my pet to Camping Salatà?

Yes, Camping Salatà is pet-friendly. Pets are welcome on all pitches and in the Llevant, Garbí and Access bungalows for an additional fee. We also provide a pet shower for their comfort.

What activities are available at the campsite?

Can you enjoy a spa at Camping Salatà? 

Yes, Camping Salatà offers a spa, with an additional charge of €20 for 1 hour of spa for two people, privately. 

Is it possible to rent fridges at Camping Salatà?

Yes.

Does the campsite include cleaning service during the stay? 

No. The bungalows are cleaned for each guest's arrival, but we do not offer cleaning service while the guest is staying. 

Is it possible to bring a second vehicle to the accommodation?

No, only one vehicle is allowed per pitch or bungalow.

Can I receive visitors at Camping Salatà?

Yes. You will need to register visitors at the reception. 

What time do we need to leave? 

The check-out time for pitches is at 12h, and for bungalows, it’s at 10h. 

How can I make a reservation at Camping Salatà?

How many people can stay on a pitch? 

On Basic pitches the maximum occupancy is 4 people, on Confort, Confort Plus, and Premium pitches it is 5 people, and on Premium Plus pitches up to 6 people can stay. The first two people stay free of charge, and from the third person onwards there is an additional fee.

 

What is the check-in and check-out time for the pitches?

The check-in and check-out time is at 12:00.

Does the campsite offer seasonal pitch rentals?

No, it is not allowed to leave the caravan on our premises without the presence of the owner.

What is the campsite’s cancellation policy?

You’ll find the full cancellation policy in the “Terms and Conditions” section of our website: https://www.campingsalata.com/en/terms-and-conditions.html.
Specifically, the cancellation policies are as follows:

  • If the cancellation is made up to 15 days before the client’s arrival date, 100% of the deposit will be refunded.
  • If the cancellation is made up to 7 days before the client’s arrival date, cancellation fees will be 100% of the deposit (30% of the total booking).
  • If the cancellation is made within 7 days before the client’s arrival, cancellation fees will be 100% of the total stay.

What is the maximum occupancy in the bungalows?

These are the maximum occupancy limits for each type of bungalow:

  • Mestral: 2 adults + 1 child (under 10 years old)
  • Access: 3 people (including children and babies)
  • Gregal and Garbí: 4 people (including children and babies)
  • Tramuntana and Llevant: 5 people (including children and babies)
  • Xaloc: 6 people (including children and babies)

 

Can I choose and book a specific bungalow?

A bungalow category is reserved, and the number is assigned upon arrival at reception. You can include your number preferences in the “Comments” section when making your reservation.ç

You also have the option to choose your location during the booking process, with a small additional fee.

 

Is there a minimum stay requirement for the bungalows?

It depends on the season
